In its sixth appearance at Penn State, Apollo’s Fire, The Cleveland Baroque Orchestra, will perform Antonio Vivaldi’s beloved concertos as the revolutionary acts of musical storytelling the composer intended them to be.

Erth Visual & Physical, Inc., and Red Tail Entertainment are pleased to confirm the arrival of Erth’s “Prehistoric Aquarium Adventure,” a multimedia family show to be performed at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 20, in Eisenhower Auditorium. 

For more than four decades, Kronos Quartet has been introducing American audiences to the works of composers from countries throughout the world. But when the San Francisco ensemble comes to Penn State for a concert at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb.

The National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine, conducted by Volodymyr Sirenko, will perform works by Camille Saint-Saëns and Johannes Brahms in concert at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 11, in Eisenhower Auditorium. Piano soloist Volodymyr Vynnytsky will join the ensemble for the Saint-Saëns concerto.

Vocalist Lizz Wright, who brings vibrancy to compositions by some of the greatest American songwriters, will make her Penn State premiere in concert at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 5, in Schwab Auditorium.
