Audience Information

Code of Culture

The College of Arts and Architecture at Penn State believes in establishing a culture of anti-racism and anti-oppression that embraces individual identities, fosters a culture of inclusion, and promotes equity. This requires a community free of discrimination, harassment, bullying, and intimidation. Participants at our events can expect to experience a safe, collaborative environment where they are treated with dignity and respect. Anyone exhibiting behaviors not aligned with these values will be directed to leave the premises. Ticket costs will not be refunded.

Lost and Found

Please contact the audience services manager at 814-865-4727 about lost or found articles.

Cameras, Cell Phones, and Recorders

Please turn off electronic devices during the performance. Audio and visual recording devices is sometimes permitted by the artist(s). Details will be included as part of the pre-performance live welcome. The use of tripods, monopods, selfie sticks, and flash photography is prohibited in the auditorium.

Backpacks, Handbags, etc.

Penn State reserves the right to inspect all items being brought into performance venues. During certain events, additional restrictions might be implemented at the discretion of facility management. Questions? Phone the audience services manager at 814-865-4727, or ask an event staff member on the day of a performance.

Late Arrivals and Early Departures

Latecomers and patrons re-entering the house during a performance will be seated at the discretion of the house manager. If you must leave the house during a performance, please do so at an appropriate time.

Safety

Please do not place items on balcony or grand tier rails. Backpacks, bags, and other belongings should be stowed under your seat so the aisles and rows remain clear. Items too large to fit under the seat may be checked at Audience Services.

Emergency Services

An Automated External Defibrillator (AED) is located in the front lobby of Eisenhower Auditorium. If an evacuation is warranted, center staff will make an announcement and provide instructions and assistance to patrons.

No Smoking

Smoking, vaping, and the use of tobacco are prohibited in and on all University-owned or leased properties, facilities, and vehicles.
