Reservations

Admission

The price for each in-person School-Time Matinee is $8 per person. Complimentary reservations are provided to educators, pre-service teachers, and chaperones.

When placing your order, please provide:

  • Contact person’s name and email address;
  • Name, address, and phone number of the school;
  • Approximate number of students and teachers who will attend the School-Time Matinee performance(s);
  • Grade level of students;
  • Number of buses;
  • Accessibility needs (wheelchair, ASL interpreter, audio description, etc.).

Registration dates

The registration period for each matinee ends on the dates below:

You will be sent an email confirmation after registering. Teaching resources will be sent for the 2024 events beginning Monday, August 19, and for the 2025 events beginning Monday, January 6.

Transportation subsidy

The Honey and Bill Jaffe Endowment for Audience Development and the Center for the Performing Arts are pleased to offer a limited busing subsidy to assist your school with transportation costs for School-Time Matinees. Ask for details when you make your reservation.

Accessibility

American Sign Language translation is provided at all School-Time Matinee performances. In addition, Eisenhower Auditorium is a KultureCity-certified, sensory-sensitivity inclusive venue. Swag bags — equipped with noise-canceling headphones, fidget tools, verbal cue cards, and VIP lanyards — are available to guests who may feel overwhelmed while visiting the auditorium. A free phone app offers a pre-visit social story. If you anticipate needing any type of accommodation, or have questions about the physical aspect provided, please contact Keith Brainard at kab248@psu.edu.
