Artistic Viewpoints, an informal moderated discussion featuring Tina Finkelman Berkett (BODYTRAFFIC co-artistic director and performer), is offered one hour before the performance and is free for ticket holders. Artistic Viewpoints regularly fills to capacity, so seating is available on a first-arrival basis.

Led by artistic director and composer Ma Jiuyue, Sounds of China features an outstanding ensemble of contemporary Chinese folk musicians that blends the ancient and the new by combining traditional music with modern arrangements.

Engagement Space and Gingher Lounge (first floor)
The public is invited to attend a two-hour workshop featuring Stephanie Gush from the Penn State Center for Arts and Crafts and Elisha Clark Halpin, associate director for instruction in the Penn State School of Theatre. The event includes an informal discussion about masks and identity using masks from around the world. Worksheets showing examples of masks from various cultures will provide inspiration for participants’ creations. Crafting will take place in Gingher Lounge.
