The public is invited to attend a two-hour workshop featuring Stephanie Gush from the Penn State Center for Arts and Crafts and Elisha Clark Halpin, associate director for instruction in the Penn State School of Theatre. The event includes an informal discussion about masks and identity using masks from around the world. Worksheets showing examples of masks from various cultures will provide inspiration for participants’ creations. Crafting will take place in Gingher Lounge. Information about the April 8 performance by Mummenschanz, the inspiration for this engagement activity, will be available in the Engagement Space.
