For almost 30 years, Brazilian dance company Balé Folclórico da Bahia has been devoted to celebrating the heritage of its region’s indigenous, African and post-colonial cultures. The company comes to Penn State on its eighth world tour with “Bahia of All Colors” at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb.

For more than three decades, Melbourne’s Circus Oz has shared its unabashed Australian sense of humor and slapstick antics with audiences worldwide. The lighthearted and acrobatically intense troupe will make its Center for the Performing Arts at Penn State debut with “Straight Up” at 7:30 p.m.

An emotionally captivating score performed by a live orchestra sets the tone for “Once,” the award-winning screen-to-stage romance about not giving up on your dreams and celebrating the power of music. The touring Broadway production will make its Penn State debut at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan.

Three prestigious classical musicians—pianist Inon Barnatan, clarinetist Anthony McGill and cellist Alisa Weilerstein—will demonstrate how they make beautiful music together with a performance of three pieces at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 23, in Schwab Auditorium.

The quintessential backstage musical comedy classic “42nd Street” takes the stage at Eisenhower Auditorium with a sparkling new production at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 17.
