En Garde Arts returns to Penn State with the documentary-style theater production “Wilderness,” which reveals the communication breakdowns of six families due to addiction and mental health issues, at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 15, in Eisenhower Auditorium.

The Center for the Performing Arts at Penn State is hosting a book drive through April to support the Mid-State Literacy Council, a State College-based non-profit organization that promotes literacy among adults.

Toronto’s Tafelmusik Baroque Orchestra, the internationally famous period-music ensemble, will return to Penn State with its latest multimedia production, “J. S. Bach: The Circle of Creation,” at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 2, in Schwab Auditorium.

Brooklyn-based big band Darcy James Argue’s Secret Society and graphic artist Danijel Zezelj will bring the artistry and soundtrack of the 20th-century avant garde to life with “Brooklyn Babylon” at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 28, in Eisenhower Auditorium.

Pianist Wu Han, violinist Philip Setzer and cellist David Finckel will perform a program of Ludwig van Beethoven piano trios at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 23, in Schwab Auditorium. The program will include Trio in E-flat Major, Op. 1, No. 1; Trio in C minor, Op. 1, No. 3; and Trio in D Major, Op.
