Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra
with Wynton Marsalis

7:30 pm Wednesday, October 7, 2015

Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis has performed at Eisenhower Auditorium more than any other combo since the Center for the Performing Arts was founded in 1985. Marsalis—trumpeter, composer, educator, and orchestra leader—will be making his seventh appearance with the celebrated big band at Penn State. Jazz at Lincoln Center, which Marsalis directs, is the world’s leading cultural and educational resource devoted to jazz. The orchestra entertains in New York City, across the United States, and around the planet in concert halls, dance venues, jazz clubs, and public parks. The big band also plays with symphony orchestras, ballet troupes, jazz students, and a who’s who of guest artists.
