Cirque Éloize
Saloon, A Musical Acrobatic Adventure

7:30 pm Wednesday, September 21, 2016

Picture this: America is under construction. The West is booming. The railroad is being developed. In the middle of the desert, a town comes to life. A saloon opens its doors. A gathering and meeting place, it quickly becomes the theatre of all stories. In Cirque Éloize’s Saloon, the infectious energy of folk music sets the tone for an acrobatic comedy that sweeps the spectator away in a mad rush. Enigmatic and colorful characters come together to reveal themselves. The result is a series of unexpected situations unfolding to the rhythm of acrobatic prowess and original choreography.

Never before has a piano tuner kicked up so much dust. Under the spell of Saloon’s beautiful Belle, he sets off a chase worthy of the greatest Westerns. The lovebirds on the run wreak havoc everywhere on their path—from the deserted plains to the depth of the mines—until the ultimate acrobatic duel.

Positioned at the heart of the renewal of circus arts, Cirque Éloize has been creating spectacular performances since 1993. Continually striving for artistic perfection, the innovative company is one of today’s leaders in contemporary circus arts. The troupe has won multiple international awards and has toured to hundreds of cities and dozens of countries around the globe.
