Modeled after a program first presented in 1990 by the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., A Choral Tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. will bring together vocal ensembles from Penn State and State College Area High School.
Performances will focus on choral and vocal music from African and African-American musical idioms that emphasize the legacy and influence of the late champion of civil and human rights.
Penn State dance ensembles also will perform.
