Bag Policy

For this event, the Center for the Performing Arts will utilize walk-through metal detectors at all entry gates. We also will enforce restrictions on the size and type of bag that may be carried into the auditorium.

  • One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar)
  • Small clutch bags, with or without a handle or strap, that do not exceed 4.5”x6.5”x1"

Bags that are NOT allowed

  • Any clear bag larger than 12"x6"x12"
  • Backpacks
  • Diaper bags

An exception will be made for medically necessary items that cannot fit into a clear bag, after proper inspection.

Limit one bag per guest.

Fans will be asked to return non-approved bags or other prohibited items— including empty, refillable water bottles—to their vehicle prior to auditorium entry. There is no check-in location for prohibited bags or items at Eisenhower Auditorium.

Please contact the Arts Ticket Center at 814-863-0255 or via email if you have any questions.

Audience Information

Lost and Found

Please contact the audience services manager at 814-863-7101, option 3, about lost or found articles.

Cameras, Cell Phones, and Recorders

Please turn off electronic devices during the performance. Audio and visual recording devices are prohibited. The use of tripods, monopods, selfie sticks, and flash photography is prohibited in the auditorium.

Late Arrivals and Early Departures

Latecomers and patrons re-entering the house during a performance will be seated at the discretion of the house manager. If you must leave the house during a performance, please do so at an appropriate time.

Safety

Please do not place items on the grand tier rails. Permitted bags and other belongings should be stowed under your seat so the aisles and rows remain clear.

Emergency Services

An Automated External Defibrillator (AED) is located in the front lobby of Eisenhower Auditorium. If an evacuation is warranted, center staff will make an announcement and provide instructions and assistance to patrons.

No Smoking

Smoking, vaping, and the use of tobacco are prohibited in and on all University-owned or leased properties, facilities, and vehicles.

Sound Too Loud?

The sound may differ depending on the artist’s technical requirements and where you are seated. We want you to have the best experience possible. If you would like to be reseated during an event, please wait for a pause/intermission and contact an usher. There are free earplugs available at the Audience Services Desk in the Eisenhower Auditorium lobby.

VIP Registration

VIP ticket buyers must register at the table inside the Eisenhower Auditorium lobby to check in and receive your wristband. This will let the ushers know who can stay for the VIP talk after the show.

After the main event, those in the first five rows should stay seated. Those in other areas of the auditorium are invited to move to Orchestra Row A.

After the VIP experience, the ushers will hand out the signed posters.

A professional photographer will take candid photos of the Q&A session. We will share the photos with VIP patrons by the end of the week.

Please contact the Arts Ticket Center at 814-863-0255 or via email if you have any questions.
