Fred Hersch Trio, described by a Wall Street Journal writer as “one of the major ensembles of our time,” will perform with special guest Anat Cohen on clarinet/saxophone for a jazz performance at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 28, in Schwab Auditorium.

The new generation of Irish rock and dance began in September 2016 when “Rockin’ Road to Dublin” inaugurated its 65-plus-city tour in Henderson, N.C. The promoter presentation will be performed at Eisenhower Auditorium at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 23.

“Pippin,” the 2013 Tony Award winner for Best Revival of a Musical, was described as “an eye-popping, jaw-dropping, visually stunning extravaganza—the thrill of the season!” by NY1. The touring Broadway production of the “Pippin” revival will make its Penn State debut at 7:30 p.m.

When Frog and Toad come out of hibernation, it’s a sign that spring is springing. The amphibious odd couple will bring their pondside adventures in the Tony Award-nominated musical “A Year with Frog and Toad” to Penn State with a production for all ages at 2 p.m.

En Garde Arts returns to Penn State with the documentary-style theater production “Wilderness,” which reveals the communication breakdowns of six families due to addiction and mental health issues, at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 15, in Eisenhower Auditorium.
