Four musician friends who call themselves the Danish String Quartet will make their Penn State premiere in a program featuring classical music from Hungary and Germany, plus folk songs from the Nordic countries. The performance will be at 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 6, in Schwab Auditorium.

“Dirty Dancing: The Classic Story on Stage” brings a new production to Penn State with two shows—7:30 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, March 21 and 22, at Eisenhower Auditorium.

The National Symphony Orchestra of Cuba, led by music director Enrique Pérez Mesa, will make its Penn State debut at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 20, in Eisenhower Auditorium.

All you have to do to become a better sensual dancer is to count to four. Participants can learn the basics of bachata during a Friday Night Dance Social at 7 p.m. Friday, March 16, in Room 201 of the State College Municipal Building, 243 S. Allen St.

Argentina’s Che Malambo will represent aspects of South American gaucho (cowboy) culture in a live performance of dance and percussion at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 15, in Eisenhower Auditorium.
