Dashon Burton, described by The New York Times as “a beloved fixture of the New York choral scene” with a voice “possessed of a clarion D,” will join Michael Mwenso in the next “Meeting the Moment” live webisode.

In a 2018 performance at Eisenhower Auditorium, Ballet Hispánico focused on dances by Latina choreographers. Now, in “50 Year Legacy Experience,” Artistic Director and CEO Eduardo Vilaro guides viewers on a journey through his company’s past, present and future.

Calidore String Quartet, praised by a Los Angeles Times reviewer for its musicians’ intuitive balance of “intellect and expression,” performs in an episode of “Front Row: National.”

Sita Frederick, an arts administrator, educator and artistic director with diverse experience leading creative and cultural initiatives at the national and community level, has been named director of the Center for the Performing Arts at Penn State, effective March 15.

Stages nationwide are still dark, but the theater goes on. The Center for the Performing Arts is hosting The Broadway Cast Reunion Series “The Lion King,” an opportunity to visit live “backstage” with the cast of the hit musical.
