“Hairspray,” Broadway’s Tony Award-winning musical comedy phenomenon, is on sale now. This new North American tour, helmed by original director Jack O’Brien and original choreographer Jerry Mitchell, will play at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 14, 2022, in Eisenhower Auditorium.

Thanks to a grant from the University Park Student Fee Board, Penn State students can cross “see a live performing arts event” off their bucket lists.

The activist-musicians of Small Island Big Song will perform at Penn State in a live concert aimed at raising awareness of the environmental plights and heritages of their ocean nations.

The Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis will celebrate the 100th birth year of one of the jazz world’s most explosive musicians.

The live “Charles Mingus Centennial Celebration” will start at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 31, 2022, in Eisenhower Auditorium. 

A virtual performance by Delfeayo Marsalis and Uptown Jazz Orchestra is available to watch for free until noon Friday, March 25, 2022.
