“Chicago,” which opened to rave reviews Nov. 14, 1996, is the longest-running American musical in Broadway history, and it shows no sign of slowing down. The Tony Award-winning show will return to the Center for the Performing Arts at Penn State for two performances—7:30 p.m.

The Center for the Performing Arts at Penn State will welcome Dallas Children’s Theater in a presentation of “The BFG (Big Friendly Giant)” at 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 8, in Eisenhower Auditorium.

Moscow Festival Ballet will perform “The Sleeping Beauty,” often called the finest achievement of classical ballet, at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 31, in Eisenhower Auditorium.

Paul D. Miller—better known in hip-hop music, literary and art circles as DJ Spooky—has traveled to the ends of the Earth to collect data representing climate change for use in his sonic soundscapes.

The public is invited to explore the centrality of sound in human experience at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 23, in the Life Sciences Building’s Berg Auditorium.
