Musical-family-dynasty trombonist Delfeayo Marsalis and Uptown Jazz Orchestra will treat jazz enthusiasts to a free Halloween eve performance. The concert will be livestreamed from Esplanade Studios in New Orleans starting at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 30.

The Center for the Performing Arts at Penn State is hosting its second of three presentations of “Front Row: National,” an online series featuring performances and interviews by members of the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center.

Self-styled retro jazz singer-songwriter-violinist Emmaline will make her Center for the Performing Arts debut with a live performance in your living room. The free, one-time virtual event will be streamed via social conferencing site Zoom at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 14.

The Center for the Performing Arts Student Engagement department, in collaboration with the Penn State Student Affairs Health Promotion Wellness initiative, is hoping to give students creative and artistic techniques to help them manage stress and enhance mental health.
