‘Bluey’ to make Penn State debut Sept. 7 at Eisenhower Auditorium

Grab the sticky geckos, break out the duck cakes and alert the grannies! The much-loved Heeler family will make its first live appearance in Happy Valley with the stage show “Bluey’s Big Play.”

The live stage adaptation of the Emmy Award-winning animated children’s series will be at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 7, in Eisenhower Auditorium.

Tickets are $48 and $35 for an adult or child, and $15 for a University Park student. Purchase your tickets online; by calling 814-863-0255; or by visiting the Arts Ticket Center at Eisenhower Auditorium (weekdays 10 a.m.–4 p.m).

Visit “Bluey” online for more information about the performance and about a separate VIP Package meet-and-greet opportunity.

Fans of all ages will get to see Bluey, Bingo, Bandit and Chilli as they’ve never seen them before. The Heelers will embark on their very first live U.S. theatre show, featuring puppetry, actors and iconic sets. “Bluey’s Big Play” is based on an original new story written by “Bluey” creator Joe Brumm and contains new music by “Bluey” composer Joff Bush.

“Bluey’s Big Play” is presented by BBC Studios and Andrew Kay in association with Windmill Theatre Co. The stage show enjoyed much success in its home market of Australia, where it premiered in Bluey’s hometown of Brisbane and went on to perform 447 times across 65 venues, including the Sydney Opera House.
