Movement Workshop for All Ages

4:00 pm Friday, September 16, 2016

Ford Building Lawn
Corner of Park Avenue and Allen Road, University Park

Free and open to the public

The one-hour workshop is a partnership with the Penn State College of Health and Human Development.

The rain date is Friday, September 30.

Audience members can learn and perform choreography under the direction of faculty and students from the Penn State School of Theatre. Members of the Centre Region Down Syndrome Society “For Good Performance Troupe” will participate in the program and perform some of their numbers. The troupe offers people with Down syndrome the opportunity to take part in musical theatre and performance activities, while allowing community members to observe, participate in, and celebrate the success of the performers. Members of the Penn State Alliance for Heroic Hearts (superheroes) will also be on hand.

Audience members should wear comfortable clothing. No dance or singing experience is required. No need to register in advance. Parents/guardians are expected to provide appropriate supervision for their children during this event. Parking is available in the nearby Nittany Parking Deck.
