Self-styled retro jazz singer-songwriter-violinist Emmaline will make her Center for the Performing Arts debut with a live performance in your living room. The free, one-time virtual event will be streamed via social conferencing site Zoom at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 14.

The Center for the Performing Arts Student Engagement department, in collaboration with the Penn State Student Affairs Health Promotion Wellness initiative, is hoping to give students creative and artistic techniques to help them manage stress and enhance mental health.

The Center for the Performing Arts presentation of Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center’s “Front Row: National” concert “Summer Evenings II” is available for streaming online through Monday, Oct. 5. 

Michael Mwenso, cross-genre artist and leader of jazz-funk band Mwenso and The Shakes, will make a virtual return to the Center for the Performing Arts with his “Meeting the Moment” livestream series.

Due to state and university limitations on large group gatherings, plus requirements for physical distancing and challenges faced by touring artists, the Center for the Performing Arts at Penn State has decided to not present public performances by artists on campus during fall semester 2020.
