Visual Art and Design

Members of Hump Day Gallery, an art gallery pioneered and maintained by Penn State School of Visual Arts students, strive to provide a professional understanding of gallery work, space, and experience. They’ll share verbal prompts on how to connect with a work of art and highlight the process of curating work. This session is great for students interested in developing self-guided skills for art encounters and building an understanding of presenting work to the public. No visual art experience is necessary. Light refreshments will be served.

What’s ArtOut? Penn State students of all majors, interests, and abilities are invited to connect with each other and explore a range of creative experiences during one-hour sessions. No experience necessary. Bring a friend, and plan to make a friend or two.
